With internationally recognized pediatricians, it is no surprise the UW Children’s Hospital outgrew its space in the UW Hospital. The Children’s Hospital relocated to a new facility renamed the American Family Children’s Hospital. Over the years, additions have been made to the facility, including a new helipad.

Balestrieri was entrusted with disassembling and removing the previous helipad. Every move our team made had to be precisely calculated due to the sensitive medical equipment directly below the helipad. Our skillful team completed the project ahead of schedule while also being mindful of the emergency routes and safety procedures of the hospital.
