Danfoss Drives

Beginning with the pre-project planning and execution, Balestrieri field and project management planned
the rigid schedule parameters in order that the operational distribution warehouse, which catalogues and distributes critical drive systems and components remain operational on their 24-hour schedule.

Procuring the ideal equipment and thoroughly researching and procuring of materials, Hector and his
team efficiently coordinated an install and removal schedule without disrupting the shipping flow of this massive warehouse.

Long-time Balestrieri Field Manager, Seum Ladarom, developed Balestrieri’s expertise in the installation of seal-tight enclosures and containments. Hector trained under Seum’s tutelage, built his own expert work skills, and is now managing projects in healthcare, aerospace, and covered process/food related environments.

When critical barriers are required, our teams excel in installation of seal-tight enclosures and
containments that provide dust free environments for our team to perform our contracted work activities
and in support of outside contractor work activities.

Challenge

Danfoss Drives distribution warehouse suffered roof damage due to storms that swept through causing
massive air handling unit damage resulting in extensive roof damage to several areas.

Balestrieri was contracted to design a work plan and install a poly barrier within the interior truss system to protect the warehoused equipment from dust and debris infiltration protecting both manufactured product and for worker safety.

Solution

Our safety and project teams developed this plan to safely and efficiently install the barrier system with custom manufactured polyethylene sheeting to accommodate the dimensions of the interior structural
truss system, all while incorporating the energy efficient lighting sensors and fire protection system of the massive 100,000 square foot warehouse space.
